Mr Woofy says hello!

This is a post from all you dog-lovers.

Mr Woofy has been quite absent from the blog for awhile, though he is ALWAYS by my side when I’m cooking…so I thought I’d treat you to a few photos of him being his adorable, manic self :)

This is Mr Woofy’s trademark lunatic grin. A look that is often on his face when someone is eating cheese… (and yes, those dark spots on his mat are drool). In case any of you are wondering – yes, Mr Woofy also has his own pillow. My mother got him into the habit of sleeping on a pillow from when he was a baby and now he doesn’t like sleeping without one.

Talk about spoilt!

This is Mr Woofy when there is roast chicken in the vicinity.

Careful, when he gets like this, you could lose an arm!

Mr Woofy putting on his heartbreaking ‘sad puppy dog’ face.

This is what I have to endure whenever I’m cooking and he wants a tidbit.

Tell me – could YOU resist this face?

those eyes, although he does look slightly demonic in the second picture.

But hey, haven’t we all got a pic of us looking ever so slightly deranged? ;-)

Now that’s a dog with personality! I also want a sous chef like that. Unfortunately all I have to contend with is our kitten getting in the way of my food photoshoots!

ohhhhhh! Soooo cute!!! I used to have to look at four such faces when I bake. Of course they can be useful too. Any baking projects which didnt work out (which didnt have raisins or choc) would go straight into very appreciative open mouths! hahahah!

Aw you got a sweet sweet dog. I have a dog too, and he likes to hang out in the kitchen too. He loves carrots! and he knows when I’m chopping carrots. He would hang out at the kitchen door I try to keep closed. He would bark anyway.

aw! Your dog is so very cute. My dog, Elliot, is always by my side in the kitchen as well.

And I love that he has his own pillow. My pup has a little blanket my mom made for him, and he loves it!

He is adorable. Does he help with mixing? Or does he just lick the bowl?” Makes me miss by baby who was always at my side in the kitchen.

Beautiful blog.

Wow, how can you get your beautiful doggie to stay so still? I can never get my dog to pose in photos :(

How can you get anything done with this cute bugger around?!!????

P.S. I LOVE your blog, especially the Korean food recipes, especially the panchan dishes. I haven’t made any for a long time, but it’s very comforting to know they’re available when I get a craving!

So cute – those eyes! Mr Woofy knows how to manipulate people! My old cats used to go mental at the smell of bbq chicken too. We couldn’t even smuggle it into the house wrapped, they’d smell it, their eyes would go wider than their heads and they’d start the insistent desperate meowing. So cute! Love the blog too btw!

Mr Woofy is sooooo lovely! Retrievers are my fav and I had one as my fluffy companion for 17 years. She is very missed. Love seeing photos of people’s dogs.

@Melanie – LOL! I’ve actually got a print of that photo by my desk, and every single person who sees it does a double take :P Demonic is the right word to describe it ;)

@Marisa – Aww, kittens make excellent sous chefs :P though I think not quite as handy when it comes to cleaning up kitchen spills with their tongues!

@JN – Absolutely! Mr Woofy (and his waistline) can attest to that :)

@Megan – LOL! Mr Woofy is the same – he MUST be by my side when I’m cooking, otherwise he tries to break down whatever doors are keeping him from getting to me :)

@Olivia – He’s a maniac, but a sweet one and I wouldn’t have it any other way :)

@Rachel – Thanks for the comment! I’m so glad you enjoyed them :) Hope your pooch was more help than mine would’ve been :)

@megan – Hehehe, spoilt puppies of the world, unite! :)

@LunaCafe – Mr Woofy says thank you, and that you’re welcome to compliment him anytime ;)

@trininista – Thanks hon, and I’m sorry you don’t have your sous-chef anymore :( Unfortunately he’s not great at helping with anything other than cleaning bowls, but he does that one job with gusto!

@Libby – Easy, when I’m taking photos of him, I usually have a small piece of cheese on my head :P It’s his favourite food and easily makes him focus!

@yukirei – Thanks hon :) As for getting things done, it’s not his cuteness but his penchant for being right under my feet that is more a hindrance :P

@Forager – Aww, that sounds both hilarious and adorable! There must be something about roast chicken that is like a drug to cats and dogs, I’ve never met one who doesn’t like it!

@MeAndBoo – I’m sorry your companion is no longer with you :( it must have been heartbreaking! xo
