Hi Kimberley,

I'm a bit perplexed by this. So long as you are making sure to press the base down firmly so there are no gaps and prebaking it, it should *not* be physically possible for the lemon topping to sink through. You can see how compacted the base is meant to be in the photos I've posted, please make sure you are following the instructions.

Hi,
I think someone had the same problem as me but I have cooked this twice now and both times has happened.
All the lemon topping has gone underneath the base so there is a biscuit layer on top then the baking paper then the lemon!
I'm not sure what I've done wrong. Is it because I have gaps in baking paper? I also didn't have a tin and used a glass pyrex dish similar size?
It still tastes great but had to get it out take off paper then scoop lemon and smear it back on!

with the recent abundance supply of lemon from the friends and colleagues, I finally got down to baking these and they were by far the best lemon slice. Baked it in a 9"x9" cake tin and there were plenty to go around. Thanks for sharing.
