Just got back from my afternoon walk with Mr. Woofy - unfortunately we had to make it a short one as it’s blowing up a gale in Melbourne this afternoon. So much so, in fact, that it looks like my pool has a wave machine built into it. However, we had a nice enough walk and managed to get a great photo of the sun hiding behind some gorgeous clouds :)

Mr. Woofy walking against the wind.

“Scratch my belly…please?”

How beautiful is that? The sun was hiding behind some rather menacing storm clouds as it was starting to set when I took this shot.

hehehe he looks like he had a fabulous day. Lemme ask.. did he just drop to the ground and start rolling on his back for no apparent reason? Chloe and Nigel do that quite often and I can never figure out what the hell they are rolling in - it looks as if nothing is there but grass.

On a sidenote.. do you just love Rocco, or what? How cute is he? hehehee!

He had a pretty boring day actually - I was being domestic all day (darning socks, doing laundry, cleaning the house etc) and when I finally got around to our walkies, he almost jumped THROUGH the door, he was so happy!

And yes - that’s exactly what he was doing. If only I were doctor doolittle, I can’t for the life of me understand why they’re rolling…and yeah, I can’t see anything but grass so it just looks like a case of itchy back!

As for Rocco - I squeaked when I saw him, my lungs deflated from the sheer amount of cuteness! That babyface is just stunning :D

Ellie - I’m glad you and Mr. Woofy were able to squeeze in a short walk before the gale hit. And I hope it’s not causing too much damage. Mr. Woofy likes such a happy, carefree dog. Hopefully he’ll have the opportunity to get back out for his next walk soon. And Rocco says “thank you very much” to you and Lisa.

Ed - nah, not too much damage other than some small branches falling from trees from the wind :) Mr. Woofy is very much happy and carefree…sometimes too carefree (well, with his farts anyway. Such an ill-mannered beast!)

And Rocco is very very welcome. Oh, if only I could be your neighbor so I could babysit that ikkle cutiepie! *sighs* Puppies are so much fun!
