Incomplete
Unsatisfied
Discontent, and
Frustrated
with myself of late.
Hopefully, it will pass sooner rather than later.
It’s still bitterly cold here in Melbourne, and the wind continues to blow something fierce…but I can smell something in the air.
Anticipation.
There are flower buds on the plants all over my backyard, and I can almost feel their excitement as they prepare to burst forth into a beautiful array of colour, bringing back their vibrancy [...]

Waking up to a cold, doggy nose and a fluffy, waggy tail
My kitchen
The fact that the rain has completely brought my garden back to life
Lots of green grass.
Enjoying a mug of hot choc while listening to the rain pour down
Sitting by the fireplace in the lounge and gasbagging with my ma
Fresh, clean sheets [...]
So, I’ve been taking driving lessons for about 2 1/2 weeks now, and I think I’m getting the hang of this thing. I’ve now had a go at all the parks and I’m now able to drive at 70 kph without breaking into a cold sweat and yelping everytime I spot headlights in my rear [...]
It’s easy to forget how wonderful it can be to just kick back and relax with friends, sitting around a fireplace and playing Attack of the Killer Bunnies, feasting on food you’d spent hours in your kitchen cooking, and generally enjoying each others company.

I’m not sure what it is about the colourless, but I find myself drawn to black and white photos more than colour. As beautiful as colour is, it can be a distracting factor that prevents you from noticing the smaller, finer details that hide in shadows.
