That is it!!
After being bombarded with ads about how Kyle and Jackie-O are the new faces of the ‘new’ Big Brother (to my international readers, Kyle and Jackie-O are two absolutely mediocre radio hosts on some radio show here. No idea what), I have reached the end of my tether.
I’ve always sniffed at ‘reality’ television, but I’ve got no patience left for these shows and the people who watch them. That’s right - I am now going to refuse to talk to anyone I’m already friends with about them unless its to viciously dissect the idiocy of the show, the concepts and the participants and viewers. That, and I’m going to actively refuse to befriend any new people who watch these shows for entertainment.
Oh, and for those who can’t understand my loathing of these two hosts, especially since I don’t listen to their show or watch anything they do on the idiot box, may I bring your attention to this clip, an interview between Jay from Frenzal Rhomb and both radio hosts a few years back. Oh god, WHERE do they find these entitlement bitches and wankers from, and why on EARTH shove them down our throats in trying to make them media ‘icons’??

Well Ellie, your not the only one who was sick of the BB ads before the show started and it is somewhat depressing to know it is on and to even see the ads about what is happening (like I just saw now whilst watching another show!!).

Oh god, my housemate and his girlfriend are willingly watching Big Brother Friday, with the volume up really loud.
