Lazy siblings
Mom has been ill this past week with some virus that’s fucking with her nervous system. She’s almost through the course of drugs prescribed, and getting a little better, but now my father has been felled with some other illness, and consequently both are bedridden most of the day.
Whilst I don’t bear any ill will for having to play nursemaid to my parents, my only wish is that my bloody siblings would think about lifting a fucking finger to help out, instead of me to do all the cooking for five as well as cleaning up after everyone and keeping the house clean and tidy!
Or even for them to say “Hey, you’ve been trapped in the house too long, go out and do something fun, we’ll take care of mom and dad for a few hours”That would be LOVELY. But it’s also bloody unlikely.
Sigh.
