The changing of the seasons
It’s still bitterly cold here in Melbourne, and the wind continues to blow something fierce…but I can smell something in the air.
Anticipation.
There are flower buds on the plants all over my backyard, and I can almost feel their excitement as they prepare to burst forth into a beautiful array of colour, bringing back their vibrancy that I’ve sorely missed from my life over the past few months.
And yet…I’ll miss winter when it’s gone. I’ll miss the cold, sharp mornings, the low settling mist, the blustery nights that really turned my bed into a sanctuary, and the copious amounts of tea and soup I’ve been enjoying over this rather icy season.
I guess I’m just hard to please ![]()

You know you are right! The extremes are here too.
I think I was projecting my wishes onto Global Warming, and I just don’t think it can take that kinda pressure ;)~

You probably get hot like that all summer long there though, huh? xoxo

We’re phasing into fall in a month or so the leaves will drop and I can’t wait. And in the winter I’ll be longing for spring. If you are hard to please I think I must be too : ) Great photography, it’s great in capturing your blog!
