Idiots! I am surrounded by idiots!
Well, not literally. But there does seem to be an excess of morons out there. I’ve become quite crap at updating my food blog (I really need to try some new recipes soon! Maybe this weekend…) but for some reason, there has been a veritable barrage of comments and emails from people trying to self-promote or asking me to promote them. Uhhh, how about NO? The ONLY events or websites that I will personally promote are ones that I’m keen on and that (in my opinion) provide something unique, interesting and which grab my attention.
SO STOP WITH THE GODDAMN UNSOLICITED EMAILS, ALREADY!
Also, just a point - if you are going to send me an email saying how much you like my food blog and want me to promote your XYZ, then for the LOVE OF GOD, do not send me an email that reads like a fucking form letter. There is no faster way of making me lose interest. I’m not saying that you need to extend flattery about my website, just try addressing me personally - my name isn’t hidden, it’s plastered all over the website!
And finally, something completely different. To whoever keeps returning to this website via google searches for “girls who like clitoris” and “smell like a dead fish”. Go away. Seriously. Go, get help and stop coming here because you’re not gonna get it from me.
*growls and storms off to have a shower*

I know how you feel… some days the “idiot factor” is very high to extreme.
I too get those annoying and generic “will you exchange links” emails… once even from a guy who’d plagiarised my website! (A threat of legal action put an end to that). But aren’t “link exchanges” so 1998 anyway? haha Like you, I just link to the odd, high-quality site that I feel will add to my visitors’ internet experience.
As for the weird Googler…. there will always be those types. I am just resigned to the presence of those people now… they’re easy to ignore. Try not to take it personally
