Simple pleasures
It’s easy to forget how wonderful it can be to just kick back and relax with friends, sitting around a fireplace and playing Attack of the Killer Bunnies, feasting on food you’d spent hours in your kitchen cooking, and generally enjoying each others company.
And after playing into the wee hours of the morning which prompts a sleepover, going out for coffee and a movie the next day leaves the weekend to a nice slow winding down. My darling Kettles is also coming over to dinner tonight, which means that this weekend, we have seen more of each other than we usually do in any 3 month block.
I’m lucky to have friends as good as these.
